They are currently looking for a Project Accounting Lead to be based in Sharma, Saudi Arabia.Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinating closely with the procurement and technical teams to ensure accurate and timely financial management of projects and related contracts within the organization, assessing and reporting the costs and budget forecasts by month and by projects Ability to use professional knowledge and skills in Transactional & Financial Accounting Principles, including CWIP accounting, cost allocation, account reconciliations and controls, combined with a high degree of diligence to contribute proactively to continuous improvement of organization's accounting, and reconciliation processes and standards Supports and collaborates with commercial and technical teams to ensure projects are successfully executed within the agreed financial parameters in relation to the timely recording and reconciliation of incurred costsSupports the Director of Finance with contract reviews coordinates with Projects, Procurement, Legal and other stakeholders as neededAnalyze the CWIP balances on all projects Assist in the annual budget preparation Support Project Accounting and Accounts Payable teams to achieve the SSO Finance department objectives via continuous open lines of communicationAssist in financial analysis work and completion of various assigned activitiesQualification & Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management, Business or related fieldMaster's Degree in Business or related field (preferred)8+ years minimum working experience in the field, previous management experience requiredAbility to demonstrate knowledge and skills in Financial Reporting and Controls and Accounting StandardsExperience with contracts review and implementation big infrastructure projects preferredHighly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric dataHighly skilled in use of Excel/PowerPointHighly skilled in use of MS Word and must be a very good writer to handle the occasional administrative needs of the department which may include translationProfessional qualification preferredExperience using a project-based ERP solution, SAP preferredExperience working in a corporate organization in the project accounting function
