Job Summary: Looking for an Accounting Clerk in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

Job Key Details:

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities including invoice preparation and payment processing
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records through accurately entering, verifying, and reconciling financial transactions and data
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments as well as other financial documents in a timely manner
• and collections
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial accounts to identify discrepancies or errors and resolve them promptly.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports including monthly, quarterly as well as annual financial statements
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee time and attendance data
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts through providing accurate financial data and reports
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and sensitive company information
• Carry out any other related tasks as may be required

Job Qualifications and Experience

• The applicant must have a Degree in a relevant course
• Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role required
• Must be familiar with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
• Must be competent in MS Office suite, databases as well as accounting software
• Must have good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial procedures
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
• Should be able to analyze financial data and detect discrepancies or errors
