Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Position Overview:

Mister Baker is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will support the accounting department with various financial tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and reports. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily accounting operations, including maintaining accurate financial records and processing transactions. Prepare and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification, payment processing, and follow-up on outstanding invoices. Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial documentation, including receipts, invoices, and expense reports. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial processes and procedures are followed. Handle any other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role is preferred. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office (Excel, Word). Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management. Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,700.00 per month
