Accounting Analyst

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and provide insights on business performance.
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Work closely with other departments to gather financial data and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models and reporting tools to enhance decision-making.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or pursuing CPA is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in a corporate finance environment or public accounting.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
