Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with strong experience in financial reporting and month-end closing. The ideal candidate will have previous exposure to outdoor media, advertising, or similar fast-paced industries, and be well-versed in managing day-to-day accounting operations while ensuring compliance with internal controls and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP accounting standards.
Analyze variances between budget and actual results and prepare management reports.
Assist in the development of internal financial KPIs for the finance department.
Month-End Closing:

Manage all aspects of the month-end and year-end close process.
Ensure timely reconciliation of bank, supplier, and customer accounts.
Post accruals, prepayments, and adjustments to ensure accurate financials.
General Accounting:

Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Process journal entries, supplier invoices, petty cash, and payroll entries.
Monitor accounts payable/receivable and follow up on outstanding items.
Compliance & Audit:

Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
Maintain accounting files and documentation in compliance with legal and internal standards.
Ensure tax compliance (VAT filings, etc.) in coordination with the finance team.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in media, advertising, or related industries.
Proven experience in financial reporting and month-end closing.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Books).
Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliations, etc.).
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations (if applicable)
Preferred:
Experience working in an Outdoor Advertising company or related marketing/media firms.
Familiarity with campaign budgeting, media booking processes, and client invoicing models.
*Tagalog speaking female preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
