Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records for multiple clients.
Record day-to-day financial transactions including journal entries, receipts, payments, and adjustments.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and accounts payable/receivable.
Manage vendor invoices, expense reports, and client billing records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist in VAT return preparation.
Support auditors during reviews by providing accurate financial data and documentation.
Assist in preparing trial balances, profit & loss accounts, and balance sheets.
Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain internal controls and financial accuracy.
Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum
1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Familiarity with
UAE VAT laws and compliance
.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills in
English
(Arabic is an added advantage).
Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in an accounting or auditing firm.
Knowledge of IFRS standards.
Professional certifications (ACCA, CMA, or CPA) - completed or in progress.
