We are currently recruiting for an Accountant \xe2\x80\x93 Accounts Receivable to join our team at Transguard Group in our HQ in DAFZA.
Scope
The individual for this position is responsible to implement and follow policies and procedures, as well as streamline effective billing processes across the various business units. This position requires a strong individual with the ability to prioritize, plan, and assist the Senior Manager with directing the department and supervision of team members.
Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for processing contracts and ad hoc invoices / credit notes
- Strive towards raising invoices and sending to clients within KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and as per process of traceability of receipt
- Process credit notes after obtaining necessary approvals according to the approval authority matrix
- Co-ordinate with the business unit for any invoice related issues and prompt resolution of queries
- Post payments and liaise closely with credit control for daily allocations
- Process daily collection and circulate accordingly
- Prepare and update the monthly target in the ERP module
- Revenue Assurance
- Cross account entries
- Preparation of Ad-hoc reports as per the requirement of the management
- Perform any Ad-hoc tasks requested by senior manager to high quality on a timely basis
- Review current process with a view to improvement
- Supervision minimum of 1 team member
- Manage customer and contract master data including the creation of new clients and contract codes
Knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in the same industry including 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
- Intermediate computer skills
- MS Office Suite
- Good understanding of IT concepts and integrated business applications (Oracle)
- College degree in accounting/finance/business management preferred
- Good working experience in an ERP environment, preferably in the UAE
