Accountant (Retail / Jewellery / Luxury Goods)Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented
Accountant
to manage daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure accurate reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience inbookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, and tax filing
, preferably within theretail, jewellery, or luxury goods industry
.Responsibilities
Maintain accurate
financial records
, includingaccounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
. Prepare and reviewmonthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
. Handlebank reconciliations, journal entries, and payroll accounting
. Assist withbudgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
. Ensurecompliance with accounting standards, VAT, and tax regulations
. Supportinternal and external audits
by providing necessary documentation. Monitorcash flow, petty cash, and expense reports
. Collaborate with management to supportfinancial decision-making
.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field
.2-5 years of professional accounting experience
, preferably in retail or jewellery. Proficient inMS Excel
and accounting software such asTally, QuickBooks, or SAP
. Strong knowledge ofaccounting principles and financial reporting standards
. Excellentattention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills
. Ability towork independently and meet deadlines
.Preferred Skills
Experience in
jewellery or luxury goods accounting
. Knowledge ofVAT filing and reconciliation
. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Available to join immediately.Job Type: Full-time
