Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with auditing skills to join our finance team. The candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with UAE accounting standards, and assisting with internal and external audit processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Duties:

Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with UAE accounting standards and IFRS. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely recording of transactions. Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit purposes. Liaise with banks and financial institutions as needed.

Audit Duties:

Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes. Prepare audit schedules and documentation to facilitate smooth audit execution. Identify and report discrepancies or control weaknesses to management. Implement audit recommendations and improve internal controls. Assist in risk assessments and compliance checks as required.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred. Minimum 1-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and auditing, preferably within the UAE or GCC region. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards (UAE /IFRS). Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Tally) and MS Office, especially Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within a team. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Understanding of UAE labor laws and commercial regulations is a plus.
