We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant - Receivables to join our finance team and ensure the accurate management of our accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receipt and Invoice Processing: Accurately process, verify, and post receipts and invoices for goods sold or services rendered, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
• Transaction Recording: Handle all transactions related to accounts receivable, including bank entries, invoice booking, reconciliation, and maintaining records concerning payments and account statuses.
• Data Accuracy: Ensure that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up-to-date, accurate, and complete.
• Client Interaction: Review accounts, client payments, and coordinate with the treasury and brand teams to resolve issues in a timely manner.
• AR Aging Report: Prepare and regularly update the Accounts Receivable Aging Report to monitor outstanding balances.
• Reporting: Generate reports and statements for internal use, providing valuable insights into accounts receivable.
• Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve account discrepancies, working with clients and internal teams to rectify issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable and financial accounting, ideally within the retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, with the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
