Job Description

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in accounting and financial management within the FandB or restaurant industry in UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation specific to the food and beverage sector.
Industry Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with the unique financial challenges and regulations associated with the food and beverage/restaurant industry.
  • Understanding of inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting in the context of restaurant operations.
Software Proficiency:
  • Proficient in using accounting software and financial management tools. Experience with industry-specific software, such as restaurant POS systems, is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office applications.
  • Analytical Skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Experience in conducting financial analysis and providing insights to support business decision-making.
Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to Detail:
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • In-depth knowledge of local and national financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements relevant to the food and beverage industry.
  • Experience in managing audits and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for various departments within the restaurant.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to create accurate financial forecasts.
  • Implement and monitor cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular analysis of food and beverage costs, recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Oversee inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate tracking and valuation of goods.
  • Implement strategies to minimize waste and improve inventory turnover.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Contribute to the development of financial strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
  • Collaborate with vendors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiate favorable terms and maintain positive relationships.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED1,931.41 - AED7,108.61 per month Ability to Relocate:
