Role Overview

The Accountant Intern will assist the finance team with daily accounting tasks, data entry, documentation, and financial reporting. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in accounting processes and exposure to real-world financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in daily bookkeeping, data entry, and updating accounting records. Prepare and organize financial documents, invoices, receipts, and vouchers. Support in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing. Help reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports. Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records. Support during audits by providing required documents and information. Coordinate with the finance team on ad-hoc accounting tasks.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or currently pursuing related studies. Basic knowledge of accounting principles (debits/credits, ledgers, journals). Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software (advantage). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly. Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
