As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Accountant to strengthen our finance team and support our operations with precision and integrity.
Role Overview:
We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, a solid understanding of UAE VAT regulations, and experience in a manufacturing or trading environment. Prior experience in an audit firm is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit and Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Maintain full sets of accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and in a timely manner.
• VAT Compliance: Manage all VAT-related activities, including timely filing of VAT returns, reconciliations, and ensuring adherence to UAE VAT laws and regulations.
• Audit Support: Liaise with external auditors, prepare necessary schedules, and facilitate the smooth completion of the annual audit. (Previous audit firm experience is highly utilized here.)
• Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment runs, collections, and bank reconciliations.
• Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software (Odoo, Tally, QuickBooks) to maintain financial data, generate reports, and improve processes.
• Inventory & Costing: Assist in inventory accounting and product costing analysis relevant to the manufacturing sector.
• Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll process by providing accurate data for salary calculations.
• Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with UAE accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a significant advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience in the UAE. Previous experience working in an audit firm is mandatory. Experience in manufacturing, trading, or SMEs is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Mandatory Proficiency in accounting software such as Odoo, Tally, and/or QuickBooks.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Strong and up-to-date knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
• Personal Attributes:
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in an "urgent hiring" environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
