Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and meticulous Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or ICWA professional with a strong background in manufacturing accounting. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial accounting, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and contributing to the financial health of our organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure all financial reporting complies with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• General Ledger & Journal Entries:
• Execute and review complex journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure the integrity of all financial data posted to the ledger.
• Cost & Management Accounting:
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead.
• Prepare cost of goods sold (COGS) and inventory valuation reports.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
• Accounts Management:
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
• Coordinate and manage the audit process with internal and external auditors.
• Compliance & Analysis:
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other statutory requirements.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities for cost reduction, and areas for improvement in financial performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Mandatory Certification: Fully qualified CA / CMA / ICWA.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Sector Preference: Proven experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Expertise in journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Location: The candidate must be currently located in the UAE.
• Interview: Availability for an in-person interview in Dubai is required.
