Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations, along with the ability to manage financial records and prepare reports. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure data integrity and accuracy. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analysis of variances. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal taxation regulations. Assist with internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation and reports as required. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for enhancing financial performance. Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2- 3 years of accounting experience. CPA certification or equivalent is a plus. Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial individuals effectively. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
