The Accounting Analyst contributes towards our overall business objectives by managing the statutory accounts of the holding company and its subsidiaries, cross functionally connecting with Corporate teams, bridging tactical requirements among entities and teams
  • Compliance to local and group reporting requirements;
  • Interface with financial statement auditors and SOx obligations;
  • Provide support to management on technical matters;
  • Consolidate the Statutory KPIs/Analysis for all International Entities: Dividends, Legal Reserves, Share Capital matters, GAAP Reconciliations, BS & PL Analysis, Calendar Obligations;
  • Support Complex Contracts Analysis;
  • Interaction with Tax department to ensure a smooth & reliable link between Tax & Governance;
  • Assistance in ensuring timely compliance of tax filing deadlines;
  • Provision of Accounting support during tax assessments;
  • Cross-country standardization of accounting procedures;
  • Collaboration with Global Shared Service Centre to improve business deliverables;
  • Assistance in internal policies and guidelines compliance;
  • Define and monitor the Budget (Actual x PO) for the area and determine actions to correct the deviations;
  • Attend to the internal and external auditors;
  • Liaise between management needs and statutory requirements.
  • Perform routine operational activities receiving guidance.
  • Assist in one or more processes.
  • Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines, ensure adherence to BRF Sustainability Plan through activities in its routines that promotes compliance with the indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments of the Company, ensuring the connection between its actions and sustainable development in the BRF chain.
Desirable requirements
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting principles & practices;
  • Good organizational ability and capability of self-direction;
  • Strong ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Sense to handle multiple priorities under time constraints;
  • Flexibility, mobility and proactiveness.
Experience
  • Graduate in Accounting, Administration or Finance;
  • Big 4 experience;
  • Technical certifications desirable (e.g. CPA, ICAEW, CFA, ACCA, CIMA);
  • Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience;
  • English fluency is mandatory (Arabic fluency is desirable);
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge;
  • Acquaintance to SAP and Hyperion.
