I am currently working for a very exciting, international PR agency. They are a fast-paced, creative PR agency with offices globally. Due to continued success, they are on the lookout for a Junior Account Manager to work across 3 major accounts. Expectations Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their main point of contact.
Understand clients\xe2\x80\x99 goals, objectives, and expectations to develop effective PR strategies.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and seek feedback.
PR Strategy Development:
Collaborate with clients to define PR goals and develop comprehensive strategies to achieve them.
Conduct research and analysis to identify target audiences and key messages.
Create PR plans that include media relations, content development, social media strategies, and event management.
Media Relations:
Cultivate relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets relevant to your clients\xe2\x80\x99 industries.
Pitch story ideas, press releases, and expert commentary to secure media coverage.
Monitor media coverage and track the effectiveness of PR efforts.
Content Creation:
Oversee the creation of press releases, articles, blog posts, and other content.
Ensure that all content aligns with clients\xe2\x80\x99 messaging and brand guidelines.
Edit and proofread content for accuracy and clarity.
Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Manage and lead a team of PR professionals, including PR executives and assistants.
Collaborate with colleagues from different departments, such as designers, social media experts, and event planners, to execute integrated campaigns.
Crisis Management:
Develop crisis communication plans and be prepared to respond to PR crises when they arise.
Provide strategic guidance to clients during challenging situations.
Measurement and Reporting:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of PR campaigns.
Prepare regular reports demonstrating the impact of PR efforts and ROI to clients.
Budget Management:
Manage and allocate budgets effectively, ensuring that campaigns are delivered within financial constraints.
Keep track of expenses, invoices, and financial reporting related to PR projects.
Industry Knowledge:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, news, and best practices in public relations.
Share insights and recommendations with clients to keep them informed about relevant developments.
Professional Development:
Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, such as attending industry conferences and obtaining certifications.
Mentor and guide junior PR team members to help them grow in their roles.
