ChampionX has an immediate need for an Account Manager based in Oman. Due to the job specifications, we are seeking for Omani Nationals for this role.

- Follow safety policies to provide a safe workplace for all employees and supports the guiding principles of Goal Zero to continually improve the plant\xe2\x80\x99s safety, health and environmental performance, security, design, development, manufacture, storage, marketing, distribution, use and ultimate safe disposal of chemical products. Drive culture of safety; Report safety observations / incidents
- Supports and is committed to the Quality Improvement Process. Plans strategies to ensure error-free work by \xe2\x80\x9cdoing it right the first time\xe2\x80\x9d and conveys this attitude in the daily performance of various duties, in our drive continuous improvement.
- Manage the Asset Integrity chemical treatment programs and assess performance of corrosion mitigation programs in various systems and flowlines.
- Review the chemical injection rates of production chemicals under the contract scope and ensure compliance with the operational excellence in line with the KPI\xe2\x80\x99s.
- Issue monthly KPI reports with traffic lights, highlight improvement plans, follow up on projects progression.
- Review all monitoring data including coupons and maintain company databases as appropriate.
- Ensure lines of communication to Company Representatives and Company Site Representatives are maintained to successfully deliver contract scope.
- Liaise between client and R&D department to scope and execute specialized corrosivity studies and suggest corrective actions/ optimization.
- Review and provide recommendation on all monitoring and chemical performance reports.
- Provide full analytical support in order to obtain a complete asset integrity corrosivity data set to support the On-plot Asset Integrity reviews.
- Develop strategy document related to chemical treatment programs.
- Conduct root cause analysis based on on-site investigations and troubleshooting of shortfalls in existing chemical treatment programs.
- Prepare written reports concerning chemical performance investigations, complete with detailed methods of overcoming the problems including improvement to the injection system design and scope of works for corrective action.
- Provide product and application recommendation and associated reports as appropriate.
- Conduct and manage product selection program, testing and evaluation as well as deployment and associated monitoring strategies.Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Metallurgy / Materials Engineering or equivalent
- 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Production Chemicals applications in Oil and Gas Industry
- Thorough knowledge of pipeline corrosion mechanisms, H2S scavenging, wax/asphaltene dispersants and scaling with appropriate knowledge of remedial practices
- Thorough experience in Oman Oil & Gas Market. Knowledge in project engineering consultancy and EPC is a plus.
- Knowledge of general confidential information policies, procedures and regulations that governs employee and employer confidentiality, and of company confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Willingness to travel and relocate when required
