Academic Counsellor (Immediate)

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and knowledgeable Academic Counsellor to guide students in achieving their educational and career goals. The ideal candidate will provide personalized academic support, help students navigate course selections, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Advise students on course selection, academic planning, and career pathways Monitor student progress and provide support to overcome academic challenges Collaborate with faculty and administration to align counselling with institutional goals Conduct workshops or seminars on study skills, time management, and goal setting Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress reports Assist with admissions, orientation, and transition programs for new students Provide emotional support and referrals to mental health professionals when needed

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or related field Prior experience in academic advising or student support services preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to handle sensitive student issues with discretion and empathy Familiarity with educational systems, curriculum structures, and career planning tools Proficient in using student information systems and digital communication platforms

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
