Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of sophisticated marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems onboard luxury yachts. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring optimal cabin comfort and system reliability for our prestigious clients.

Key Responsibilities:



Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of complex marine HVAC systems, including chilled water and direct expansion systems. Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on AC units, compressors, condensers, evaporators, and control systems. Handle refrigerants safely and in accordance with international marine and environmental standards Interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and piping diagrams. Install new HVAC systems and components as required for refits or upgrades. Collaborate with the engineering and maintenance team to address interdisciplinary issues. Maintain accurate service reports, logs, and inventory of parts. Provide exceptional service and communicate effectively with yacht crew and management.

Qualifications & Experience:



Minimum of 2 years

of hands-on experience as an AC Technician,

specifically in the marine/yacht industry.

Proven expertise in servicing and repairing marine-grade HVAC and refrigeration systems. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to work with multi-phase power. Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail. Must be physically fit and able to work in confined spaces and at heights onboard yachts.
