The AC Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort. The role requires hands-on technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair various types of air conditioning systems (split, window, central, VRF, etc.)
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in AC and refrigeration systems using specialized tools and equipment
Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and servicing of air conditioning units
Replace worn or defective parts such as compressors, capacitors, thermostats, and filters
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations (handling refrigerants safely)
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Coordinate with clients or facility managers regarding service schedules and equipment issues
Recommend improvements or upgrades to AC systems for better efficiency
Respond promptly to emergency repair requests
