Install, configure, and set up new air conditioning and electrical systems.
Maintenance:
Conduct routine preventative maintenance on both AC units and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Troubleshooting & Repair:
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults in AC units and other electrical equipment.
Component Replacement:
Identify and replace defective electrical and mechanical components within AC systems.
System Operation:
Ensure HVAC and electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, electrical wiring, and lighting systems.
Diagnostic Abilities:
Ability to diagnose electrical and mechanical problems using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
Blueprint Reading:
Proficiency in interpreting and working with technical plans, diagrams, and blueprints.
Safety Awareness:
Adherence to strict safety protocols and regulations while performing tasks.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent problem-solving skills to efficiently handle complex AC and electrical system issues.
Communication:
Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to customers and management.
Common Duties
Service Calls:
Respond to service calls for troubleshooting and resolving issues with AC and electrical systems.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and maintenance activities.
Customer Interaction:
Provide recommendations, cost estimates for repairs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Safety Compliance:
Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and regulations.
