Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning units (residential, commercial, or industrial).
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems.
Inspect and test AC units for proper operation.
Perform preventive maintenance and recommend upgrades or replacements.
Replace faulty parts, filters, compressors, and electrical components.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and local regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and reports.
Provide guidance to clients on AC usage, maintenance, and energy efficiency.
Respond to emergency service requests as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or refrigeration preferred.
Proven experience as an AC Technician or HVAC technician.
Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration cycles, and HVAC components.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Physical ability to handle equipment and perform installations at heights.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication and customer service skills.
