Job Description

We are

urgently hiring an experienced AC Technician cum Driver

to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. This role requires both strong technical skills and the ability to operate company vehicles responsibly when performing on-site service calls.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform

preventive maintenance (PPM)

on air conditioning systems to ensure peak performance and reliability. Clean and service filters, coils, and other AC components to prevent malfunctions and extend system life. Carry out

corrective and emergency maintenance (CM/EM)

as assigned by the supervisor. Diagnose and troubleshoot AC system issues, including problems with compressors, motors, thermostats, and other key components. Repair or replace defective parts to restore full system functionality. Install new air conditioning units and replace major components such as compressors, condensers, and evaporators. Handle and charge refrigerants safely and in accordance with environmental and safety regulations. Conduct performance tests to ensure AC systems meet required specifications and standards. Calibrate thermostats and control systems to maintain accurate temperature regulation. Maintain complete and accurate service documentation, including installation reports, repair logs, and maintenance records. Record all replacement parts and materials used during service in the maintenance system. Adhere strictly to company safety policies, including the proper use of

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

and tools. Communicate clearly with supervisors regarding system issues, repair requirements, and material needs. Provide feedback on potential upgrades, replacements, and improvements for outdated systems. Participate in training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and stay updated on HVAC best practices. Respond promptly to urgent repair calls, particularly during peak operational periods or extreme weather conditions. Drive company vehicles responsibly when attending service calls or collecting materials.
