Job Summary:
The AC Duct Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating duct fabrication, installation, and maintenance works for HVAC systems at project sites. The role ensures that all activities are executed as per drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate duct fabrication and installation teams at site. Ensure proper installation of ducting, insulation, supports, and accessories as per approved drawings and SMACNA standards. Read and interpret HVAC drawings, coordination layouts, and technical specifications. Monitor manpower productivity, material usage, and work progress to meet project deadlines. Coordinate with the Project Engineer and other trades (electrical, plumbing, fire fighting) for smooth workflow. Inspect duct fabrication and installation to ensure quality and compliance with specifications. Identify and report material or drawing discrepancies to the Engineer. Ensure adherence to site safety regulations and company policies. Prepare daily progress reports and update the Engineer on site activities. Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities for HVAC systems.
