Job Role: 3D Senior Designer / Art Director

We are looking for an experienced hands-on designer who has extensive experience in 3D design for merchandising, environmental branding, and events.

-The ideal candidate should come from a creative agency background and have strong creative and conceptualization skills. They should also have extensive experience in managing teams, briefing concepts, and managing other designers to achieve their design vision.

-Candidates may also come from architectural, exhibition, events, merchandising, or fit-out backgrounds, but they must have worked in companies that deliver cutting-edge creativity. The work we do is not run-of-the-mill design and production, it is always strategically and creatively driven to create maximum impact in the market.

-To clarify, we are not looking for a 3D illustrator or animator, but more someone who can design display units and branded environments with the technical elements required by these sorts of designs (tech drawings with specifications and measurements, etc).

-A thorough understanding of both 3D and 2D design software including Adobe Creative Cloud applications and Sketchup (or other 3D design applications) is essential. Experience with Solid Works is an advantage.

-The successful candidate will have excellent English communication skills and be confident to present to senior management when necessary. They should be able to communicate clearly to the rest of the client service and design team as well as to issue specific and clear feedback to suppliers.

-The candidate should be familiar with the latest production techniques and materials and be able to perform quality control and troubleshooting during fabrication. They should also take an interest in new technologies and be able to incorporate these into their design work.

-In addition to 3D work, the candidate should ideally be able to apply themselves to the conceptualization and design of 2D work such as key visuals, adverts and brochures.

-A tertiary design or suitable technical qualification is essential.

-Knowledge and experience in the drinks sector are definite advantages.
