Foreground is partnering with a leading events and communications agency to appoint a 3D Designer Team Leader.
About the Role
The 3D Designer Team Leader will lead a team of 3D designers in delivering visually stunning event, exhibition, and experiential space designs. This individual will drive creative excellence, ensure technical feasibility, and foster team development in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of 3D event spaces, exhibition booths, and immersive brand experiences.
• Translate conceptual ideas into detailed 3D renderings, architectural drawings, and technical layouts.
• Assign and oversee design tasks based on team strengths and project needs.
• Collaborate with creative, account management, and production teams to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain and organize design files, assets, and technical specifications for seamless production.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, supporting their growth and quality of work.
• Ensure all 3D assets meet technical specifications, production requirements, and industry standards.
• Optimize 3D models for efficient rendering and presentation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in 3D visualization, AR/VR, and digital design technologies.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, client presentations, and design reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design, Architecture, 3D Design, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in 3D event/exhibition design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D event designs, exhibition setups, and brand activations.
• Advanced proficiency in 3D Max, SketchUp, Cinema 4D, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of architectural design, materials, and fabrication processes.
• Experience creating immersive experiences using AR/VR is a plus.
• Excellent team leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to balance creativity with technical feasibility.
