Collaboration with Other Departments:
Candidates work closely with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, to translate 3D designs into detailed 2D drawings that are feasible for manufacturing.
Standard Compliance:
Candidates must ensure that all the drawings comply with industry and company standards, as well as legal regulations.
Revision and Modification:
The drafting engineer must revise and modify the drawings as per feedback from manufacturing or design teams or due to changes in project scope or design.
Document Management:
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining all the drawing documentation, keeping records of all versions and modifications for future reference.
Technical Support:
Providing technical support to the manufacturing and assembly teams during the production process is also a key responsibility.
