Profile Middle East is a service provider with more than 20 years of experience in the market which specializes in Technical Field and HR Consultancy Services in the Industrial Sector (Oil & Gas, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning) with our focus on the Middle East region and a worldwide presence.For our own projects, we are looking for: YARD MANAGERRef code: CR_2403-144_Yard ManagerJob summaryMISSION:Overseeing the organization and management of the yard space, ensuring efficient use of space and accessibility for vehicles and equipment.Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.TASKS:
  • Ensuring coordination between all the discipline supervisors/superintendents working in the assigned area to coordinate all the activities and manage related interferences;
  • Organizing all the activities and assigning task to all the superintendents/supervisors keeping track of the activities carried out through work files, guaranteeing continuity even in the event of absence through sharing of information and teamwork;
  • Checking the efficient productivity of Subcontractors activities with regards to the quality and quantity (jointly with Project Control);
  • Making sure that all the activities are carried out on time, otherwise check deficiency to promptly define and implement corrective actions that allow compliance with the schedule;
  • Verifying and discussing with Field Project Engineers modifications and cooperating with them to issue Sketches Layout (SKL) when works must be executed in different way as indicated on drawings;
  • Proposing any improvement solution that arises during the execution of the works and supporting the Field Project Engineer in answering to Subcontractor\'s site queries;
  • Recording any modification after approval and informing Subcontract Administrator for contractual changing;
  • Preparing and filling the Request of Work Execution (RWE) form for any extra work not included in the contract or for field modification, for further approval by other functions, before the execution of the work itself, as per procedure by Subcontracting Department;
  • Supported by the discipline supervisors, checking by the \xe2\x80\x9cManpower presence report\xe2\x80\x9d the quantity of Subcontractor\xe2\x80\x99s manpower present on site (jointly with Subcontracting Management);
  • Supported by the discipline supervisors, checking, signing and collecting all Subcontractor Time Sheets when the work is reimbursed on hourly basis;
  • Supported by the discipline supervisors, preparing/checking Subcontractor\xe2\x80\x99s monthly/weekly progress of work and transmitting relevant data to Project Control;
  • Ensuring in advance that no hold can occur for Subcontractors work due to lack of needed engineering documents and materials or work area accessibility to avoid Subcontractor claims (jointly with Project Control and Field Engineer);
  • Supporting discipline supervisors to prepare and issue to Subcontractor the Construction and Final Punch Lists and follow up the completion of relevant outstanding works;
  • Supporting discipline supervisors to make sure that Subcontractors follow the provisions of the approved ITP and the inspections are called timely and in according to the procedure established for the project;
  • Supporting discipline supervisors to always ensure collaboration to QC Inspector during the execution of the related inspections;
  • Supporting discipline supervisors identifying possible non-Conformities according to the Quality Assurance System Procedure and suggest the related Corrective Action;
  • Implementing HSE procedures and standards in compliance with applicable laws, Health and Safety Documentation and Environmental Management Manual;
  • Always ensuring collaboration and support to HSE colleagues both in the preparation phase through the verification and approval of the MS/JSA and during the execution of the works;
  • Making sure that work permits are obtained before to start any activity and ensuring related compliance with permit conditions;
  • Being responsible for the highest standards in housekeeping for assigned area and to promptly inform Safety Supervisor about unsafe work procedures;
  • Being diligent and proactive in correcting unsafe acts, unsafe behaviors and unsafe conditions;
  • Being diligent in reporting to the appropriate level of Construction Supervision and to Subcontractor management all unsafe acts, unsafe behaviors, and unsafe conditions;
  • Participating and assisting the incident investigations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
  • Solid background of all construction discipline with specific experience in substation buildings, civil activities, electrical installations, and HVAC systems;
  • 10+ years of experience in management of construction site;
  • Possession of VCA-vol certification (for Belgium site) or any other certification required to work in UAE;
  • Strong Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Autocad, Naviswork etc);
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
