Job Description
\xe2\x88\x99 Reporting directly to the Operations Manager. \xe2\x88\x99 Dress professionally and keep the highest standard on tardiness whilst on duty. \xe2\x88\x99 Ensure safe operation of the vessel and that it is operated and crewed according to both company and legal guidelines. \xe2\x88\x99 Investigate any damage to the vessel, personal injuries of crew and the environmental effects of the vessels. \xe2\x88\x99 Maintain all on-board equipment, including machinery, engines and safety equipment with regular inspection. \xe2\x88\x99 Adhere to any budgets and the purchasing and loading of fuel, supplies and equipment. \xe2\x88\x99 Steer and operate vessels using equipment such as radar, depth finders, radios, buoys, lights and lighthouses. \xe2\x88\x99 Dock and undock sailing vessels, sometimes navigating through tight spaces, such as locks. \xe2\x88\x99 Alter navigation plans based on weather conditions to keep vessels and passengers safe. \xe2\x88\x99 Inspect boats and ships to ensure efficient and safe operation of vessels and equipment and their conformity to regulations. \xe2\x88\x99 Records daily activities in yacht\xe2\x80\x99s log. - Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Do you have 24 meters boat driving license?
- Do you have attested and authenticated university degree certificate?
- Are you a graduate of Marine Engineering/ Marine Transportation?
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
- Yacht captain: 3 years (Required)
- Fire Fighting Certificate (Required)
- First Aid Certificate (Required)
- Personal safety and social responsibility Certificate (Required)
- Personal survival techniques certificate (Required)
- Day Shift (Required)
- Night Shift (Required)
- Overnight Shift (Required)
