Plan and conduct wrestling training sessions across all levels (grassroots to elite). Teach wrestling techniques, rules, and conditioning drills in line with international standards. Monitor athlete progress, maintain individual development plans, and provide performance feedback. Prepare athletes for national and international competitions in coordination with the Head Coach. Maintain discipline, safety, and motivation in the training environment, ensuring adherence to first aid and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with athletes and technical staff in English, and contribute to a positive, high-performance culture. Keep detailed training records, manage attendance logs, and ensure the proper use and maintenance of training equipment. Support talent identification and athlete development initiatives as part of the federations performance pathway. Mentor junior coaches and provide guidance on session planning, training delivery, and professional growth. Coordinate with the Head Coach on periodized training plans and contribute to athlete evaluations. Collaborate with competition teams to ensure optimal athlete readiness. Qualification Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Wrestling Coach or competitive wrestler at a recognized level. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Strong understanding of wrestling rules, scoring systems, and weight categories. Excellent leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills. Physically fit and capable of demonstrating techniques and leading by example. Preferred Attributes: Familiarity with injury prevention and recovery techniques. Passionate about the sport and committed to athlete development. Experience working with youth and professional athletes.
