Job Title: Workshop Technician - Engine/Fuel Systems
Salary: Negotiable dependent upon experience (tax free)

We currently have a vacancy to join a leading provider of comprehensive aviation services based in the Middle East, as a Workshop Technician - Engine/Fuel Systems. The role will be based in Abu Dhabi and offers a full relocation package for the successful candidate.
The company specialises in delivering customised aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul, logistics and supply chain services to military and civil aviation customers across the region. Whilst their head office is based in Abu Dhabi, they have a number of operational facilities across various UAE military bases and aviation sites. The company plays a key role in supporting the UAE Armed Forces and other regional air forces. They support a wide range of both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft including military helicopters such as Black Hawks, Chinooks and Apaches as well as transport aircraft such as C130 Hercules. Their services include line and base maintenance, avionics, airframe and engine repair and comprehensive logistical support.
The Workshop Technician - Engine/Fuel Systems will accomplish aviation unit, and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft turbine engines and components. Carries out directives from the Supervisor.
Main Responsibilities:

• Removes, replaces, services, prepares, preserves, cleans and stores engine assembles or components.

• Disassembles repairs, resembles, adjusts, diagnose tests turbine engine systems, subsystems and components according to applicable manuals and directives.

• Assists in troubleshooting engines/engine components and rigging engine controls. 4. Uses and performs user maintenance on common and special tools.

• Requisitions aircraft parts, and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft engine and components.

• Inspects and prepares forms and records in accordance with applicable regulations.

• Train host national personnel on the proper maintenance of the engines and associated components and subsystems.

• Responsible for tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor.
