Job Summary

The Workshop Supervisor will oversee daily operations of the joinery workshop, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and timelines are met. The role involves supervising carpenters, ensuring safety compliance, managing materials, and coordinating with project teams for efficient job execution.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the joinery workshop. Assign tasks to carpenters and craftsmen based on project requirements. Ensure all joinery works (doors, cabinets, furniture, counters, panels, etc.) are produced as per drawings and specifications. Monitor production timelines and maintain workflow efficiency. Inspect finished products to ensure high-quality workmanship. Manage workshop inventory, materials, tools, and equipment. Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and procurement for job scheduling. Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workshop. Train and guide team members to improve skills and performance. Prepare daily reports on productivity, material usage, and work progress.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in

joinery or carpentry workshop supervision

. Strong knowledge of joinery production, materials, machinery, and tools. Ability to read and understand technical drawings. Experience in managing carpenters, polishers, and machine operators. Good communication and leadership skills. Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks. Knowledge of safety practices within a workshop environment.
