Workshop Supervisor
Job Description
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Supervisor with a strong background in car repairs to efficiently manage and organize daily operations on the workshop floor. The supervisor will ensure smooth workflow, high-quality repairs, proper task distribution, and adherence to company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all workshop activities, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
Oversee technicians, allocate tasks, and ensure optimal utilization of manpower.
Monitor repair quality and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Conduct daily inspections of vehicles under repair and verify progress.
Coordinate with the parts, insurance, and customer experience teams to ensure seamless operations.
Resolve operational issues promptly and improve processes where necessary.
Maintain workshop equipment and ensure availability of required tools and materials.
Prepare daily/weekly reports on productivity, pending work, and challenges.
Train and guide technicians to enhance their performance and technical skills.
Requirements
Requirements: o Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair workshops.
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, body, and paint repair processes. Proven experience in supervising technicians and managing workshop floor operations. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments. * Ability to identify operational gaps and implement effective solutions.
