In this role you will be responsible to support the unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes, correctly using machinery and equipment on the shop floor, read and interpret the technical diagrams/instructions for assembly of products/systems/panels.Your responsibilities

• Applying safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities, reporting unsafe practices and incidents, maintaining departmental housekeeping standards
• Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing workshop orders according to workshop processes and guidelines, acting with sense of urgency and care in the direct area of responsibility
• Performing workshop tasks such as Drives troubleshooting, repair, assembly and testing of ACS880/800/550/580/ ACS800LC, DC driving and all other ABB VFD product family which are arriving to workshop
• Supporting training center coordination & training deliveries, checking bill of materials and other documents to identify required parts for needed for service activity and ensures that all materials, parts and equipment are available for service execution.
• Material handling, storage of shipments, handling spare parts and keeping inventory up to date, ensuring the completion, processing, and maintenance of all required documentation.
• Keeping track of drive arriving and leaving the workshop and keeping customer updated with the progress of the service, preparing for deliveries with DN/PL, arranging packing and logistics follow-up, DSW case data file entry and update with utmost accuracy, E-waste/recycling process handling.
• Proactively executing work on a first-time right approach and ensuring the job is done on time and on quality, identifying improvement needs and potential solutions for them in the way of working, communicating proactively and driving small improvement actions.
• Providing technical support service to end user with regard to the DSW cases in accordance with ABB guideline.

Your background

• Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Electronics
• Minimum 3- 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 service experience in LV Drives
• Electrical /Electronic troubleshooting with report making skills, MS office excel skills
• Fluency in English language is mandatory
