Plan and organise the daily activities of the workshop.
Oversee and manage end-to-end activities of the Workshop Department, including people management.
Guide and support the preparation of costing sheets for import and export items.
Provide prompt and professional solutions to customer queries.
Offer technical guidance and support to mechanical teams.
Identify staff who require ongoing training and implement suitable training programs to enhance their skills.
Review customer service orders and inspect the quality of technician repairs before vehicle release.
Review work orders to ensure all actions are properly documented in accordance with service workshop policies and procedures.
Plan and prepare the department's annual budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions. Closely follow up to achieve budgets and targets.
Ensure all service jobs are properly accounted for through the Focus Software System.
Carry out succession planning to ensure continuity in key roles.
Minimize inventory holding in coordination with the Parts Manager.
Support quality activities and initiatives of the company.
Perform any other responsibilities as required by management from time to time.
