Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop Foreman to lead our Heavy Duty Vehicles Section. The ideal candidate will oversee all workshop operations, ensuring efficient repair, maintenance, and servicing of trucks and heavy earth-moving equipment. This position requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a hands-on approach to mechanical engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise, assign, and participate in major and minor mechanical repairs. Plan, organize, and prioritize work orders to ensure timely job completion. Dismantle, inspect, repair, and reassemble diesel engines, clutches, steering components, compressors, and related assemblies. Conduct inspection of spare parts, identifying any non-conforming items. Oversee the rebuilding of engines, turbochargers, fuel pumps, and ancillary systems. Perform diagnostic tests using appropriate tools and methods to identify mechanical or electrical issues. Ensure that all completed work meets company quality and performance standards. Prepare and maintain accurate service records, reports, and job documentation. Provide technical guidance and support to mechanics and helpers. Ensure compliance with all workshop safety procedures and practices. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in

Mechanical Engineering

or

Automotive Engineering

(Technical Diploma may be considered with strong experience). Minimum

5 years of proven experience

as a Workshop Foreman in heavy-duty trucks or earth-moving equipment. Excellent technical knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and powertrain systems. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Fluent in

English

(verbal and written). Good communication and leadership skills. Working knowledge of local safety and maintenance regulations. Valid

UAE driving license

preferred. Familiarity with

ISO standards

is an advantage.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience in managing multi-brand heavy equipment workshops. Certification or formal training in ISO, HSE, or OEM maintenance procedures. Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
