Cityway Facilities Management is seeking a skilled and experienced
Workshop Carpenter
to join our team. The Workshop Carpenter will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, repairing, and finishing wooden and related materials for fit-out, maintenance, and custom carpentry works, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate, assemble, and install wooden furniture, cabinets, doors, partitions, and other carpentry items as per drawings or instructions.
Operate and maintain workshop machinery and hand tools safely.
Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and work orders accurately.
Perform cutting, shaping, sanding, finishing, and polishing of wood and wood-based materials.
Ensure proper material usage and minimize wastage.
Carry out repairs and modifications to existing carpentry works.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
Follow company safety procedures and quality standards at all times.
Coordinate with supervisors and site teams for timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a
Workshop Carpenter
(minimum
3 years
preferred).
Ability to read basic drawings and take accurate measurements.
Knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, machinery, and finishing techniques.
Experience in furniture, joinery, and fit-out works is an advantage.
Good workmanship, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
