Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Full Stack WordPress Developer

with strong expertise in custom coding, plugin and theme development, and the ability to manage and integrate POS (Point of Sale) systems. The ideal candidate should have both backend and frontend development skills, with a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, PHP, MySQL, APIs, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

custom WordPress plugins and themes

. Optimize and customize existing themes and plugins for functionality and performance. Develop and integrate

POS system backends

with WordPress/WooCommerce. Manage and maintain e-commerce platforms (WooCommerce, payment gateways, inventory syncing). Ensure site security, scalability, and performance optimization. Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to implement new features and campaigns. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade legacy code when required. Conduct regular updates, backups, and technical documentation. Perform keyword/SEO optimization within the development scope.

Requirements

Proven experience as a

WordPress Developer (5+ years preferred)

. Strong skills in

PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, AJAX

. Experience with

WooCommerce

customization and development. Proficiency in

custom plugin and theme development

. Experience in

POS system integration

(retail/e-commerce). Familiarity with REST API and third-party API integrations. Knowledge of

Git version control

and deployment processes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Good understanding of UI/UX principles. Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with

server management (cPanel, WHM, VPS, AWS, etc.)

. Knowledge of

React, Vue.js, or modern JavaScript frameworks

is a plus. Familiarity with

SEO best practices

. Experience in

multi-vendor marketplace setups
