We are looking for a skilled and innovative WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will help us shape our online presence by maintaining and enhancing our weblog structure, which includes a variety of custom features and integrations. You must be capable of working independently as well as collaborating effectively with a team, ensuring timely project delivery, and developing custom components. Your creativity and technical expertise will contribute to the continuous improvement of our online performance and help shape our brand.

Your challenges

• Design and build the website front-end, collaborating with the Design team to transform visual concepts from wireframes into functional sections.

• Customise and develop WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring unique and intuitive user experiences.

• Oversee the website architecture, including back-end management, database, server integration, and third-party service integrations.

• Optimise website performance across various devices and browsers, conducting regular performance tests and maintenance activities like updates and backups.

• Troubleshoot and debug content and functionality issues, implementing security measures to guarantee a seamless operation.

• Stay informed about the latest web technologies and industry trends to ensure the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role

• Strong knowledge of WordPress, CSS, PHP, HTML, jQuery, and JavaScript

• Ability to write and test code, troubleshoot and fix issues, and manage projects from scoping to completion

• Familiarity with SEO best practices to optimise website performance

• Experience with third-party integrations

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience in designing custom elements on the WordPress platform

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

• Experience with creating admin dashboards and user stratification
