We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer with expertise in WooCommerce to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites with a focus on implementing and customizing WooCommerce functionalities. Your role will involve creating custom templates for pages, working with builders, integrating third-party libraries, and utilizing the WPML translation plugin, and ensuring the ability to create SEO-friendly code. Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing customized WordPress themes and plugins with a strong focus on WooCommerce integration.
- Developing and maintaining WordPress websites, ensuring they are responsive, visually appealing, and optimized for performance.
- Creating custom templates for pages using WordPress template hierarchy, hooks, and filters.
- Working with page builders such as Elementor, WP Bakery, Divi, or Beaver Builder to create dynamic and flexible content layouts.
- Integrating third-party JavaScript libraries and APIs to enhance website functionality and user experience.
- Utilizing the WPML translation plugin to provide multilingual support for websites.
- Customizing WooCommerce functionalities to meet client requirements, including product catalogs, shopping carts, payment gateways, and shipping methods.
- Implementing SEO best practices to create SEO-friendly code, including proper meta tags, structured data, and clean URLs.
- Collaborating with designers and other developers to translate design mockups into functional WordPress websites.
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.
- Optimizing website performance, including page load speed, caching, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues related to WordPress, WooCommerce, or associated plugins.
- Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress development and WooCommerce.
- Providing timely support and assistance to clients regarding website maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Solid experience as a WordPress Developer with a focus on WooCommerce development.
- Proficiency in WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of the WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
- Experience in creating custom templates for WordPress pages using template hierarchy, hooks, and filters.
- Familiarity with popular page builders such as Elementor, WP Bakery, Divi, or Beaver Builder.
- Ability to integrate third-party JavaScript libraries and APIs into WordPress websites.
- Knowledge and experience working with the WPML translation plugin to provide multilingual support.
- Experience in customizing WooCommerce functionalities, such as product variations, pricing rules, inventory management, and checkout processes.
- Knowledge of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with MySQL databases and the ability to write optimized database queries.
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
