Walk-in Interview:

Timings:

10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM

As a WordPress Developer at Code Hive, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites, themes, and plugins. This role requires a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. You will work closely with the design team to translate design mockups into fully functional websites, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.

Key Responsibilities:

WordPress Development:

Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins. Customize and optimize existing themes for performance and responsiveness. Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites. Ensure website security, data protection, and regular updates.

Frontend Development:

Convert design mockups into fully functional websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Optimize websites for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility. Implement responsive designs for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.

Backend Development:

Manage and customize WordPress database (MySQL). Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for external services. Ensure website backup, migration, and recovery processes.

System Integration & Deployment:

Collaborate with DevOps to deploy websites on various hosting platforms. Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and payment gateways. Maintain version control with Git.

Testing & Troubleshooting:

Perform testing and debugging to ensure website functionality. Conduct performance analysis and implement optimizations. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress websites.

Documentation & Collaboration:

Write clean, modular, and well-documented code. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and project managers to deliver high-quality websites.

Continuous Learning & Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, plugins, and best practices. Recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and user experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field. Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in WordPress development. Strong experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. Proficiency in developing custom WordPress themes and plugins. Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.). Familiarity with SEO best practices and optimization techniques. Knowledge of website security and data protection measures. Proficiency with Git and version control workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. English fluency is required; Arabic is a plus.
