Key Responsibilities
Prepare wooden surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed.
Operulate and maintain various spray painting equipment to apply stains, lacquers, varnishes, and other protective/decorative coatings.
Mix, match, and thin paint and finishing materials to achieve the required color, viscosity, and application consistency.
Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) to ensure optimal paint application and curing.
Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring adherence to company standards and client specifications, and performing touch-ups as necessary.
Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Perform routine maintenance on spray equipment and booths.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience
as a Spray Painter, specifically working with
wooden substrates
furniture, cabinetry, architectural millwork.
Proven expertise in various wood finishing techniques.
Strong knowledge of different types of wood coatings and their application properties polyurethane, NC lacquer, stains.
Ability to read and interpret work orders, finish specifications, and color samples accurately.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift necessary equipment or materials.
