We are seeking a skilled WooCommerce Developer specializing in customization and plugin development to join our team. As a WooCommerce Developer, you will be responsible for creating custom-designed products and enhancing the functionality of a single WooCommerce website. Your primary focus will be on tailoring coding solutions and developing WordPress plugins to meet the unique requirements of our client\'s website. Responsibilities: 1. Customization: Customize the WooCommerce theme, templates, and plugins to create unique and visually appealing designs for custom-designed products. 2. Plugin Development: Develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient WooCommerce plugins that extend the functionality of the website and enhance the overall user experience. 3. Front-end Development: Collaborate with designers to implement custom designs, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and optimal performance. 4. Back-end Development: Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code to implement custom functionality and integrate third-party APIs as needed. 5. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and compatibility problems related to WooCommerce and custom-coded solutions. 6. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of developed features and plugins. 7. Documentation: Document code, processes, and solutions for future reference, knowledge sharing, and seamless maintenance of the website. 8. Continuous Learning: Keep up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in WooCommerce development and related ecosystems. Requirements: 1. Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a WooCommerce Developer, specializing in customization and plugin development. 2. Strong WooCommerce Knowledge: In-depth understanding of WooCommerce architecture, theme customization, plugins, hooks, and functions. 3. PHP and MySQL: Solid understanding of PHP and MySQL, with the ability to write efficient, optimized, and secure code. 4. Front-end Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and responsive web design. 5. Plugin Development Experience: Demonstrable experience in developing custom WooCommerce plugins from scratch, including familiarity with WooCommerce Plugin API. 6. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve technical challenges effectively. 7. Team Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and other developers to achieve project goals. 8. Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to code quality, security, performance optimization, and documentation. 9. Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your previous WooCommerce customization and plugin development work is highly desirable. 10. Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
