Job Description
A wine expert, or sommelier, is responsible for selecting, recommending, and serving wines in restaurants, hotels, or retail settings. They possess deep knowledge of wine regions, varietals, and food pairings, and often manage wine inventories, train staff, and enhance the overall guest experience through curated wine offerings.
Responsibilities:
Recommend and serve wines to guests Pair wines with food menus Manage and update wine inventory Train staff on wine knowledge and service Source and select wines for purchase Host tastings and wine events
Qualifications:
Available to start immediately.
Must be inside UAE and willing to work in Dubai.
Experience in wine service or hospitality
In-depth knowledge of wine regions, grape varieties, and food pairings
