Job Description
Title:Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic (Lead)
Provide Maintenance Support for Patriot Weapon System focused on inspections, service, and repairs at Al Udeid Air Force Base (AUAB), Qatar.
Individual will ensure task are perform on Patriot equipment that includes analyze preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS), malfunctions and repair, rebuild and maintain heavy equipment, operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects, dismantle and reassemble equipment, using hoists and hand tools, examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges, replace defective engines and subassemblies, such as transmissions, and test overhauled equipment to insure operating efficiency.
Special Requirements and Qualifications: Travel, Overtime as required to meet mission, must be able to lift, carry, manipulate equipment / TMDE, must be able to access PATRIOT MEIs to perform testing and data collection.
Required Skills: Prior military (Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 27X, 94S, 91B, 91D, 14E, 14T, 948D6D, 140E 140L.
Desired Skills:
Minimum Education: BS/BA and 10 years' experience in related field; HS and 15 years of specialized military experience in related field.
Clearance: Secret
