Inspect and diagnose:
Inspect tires, suspension, and steering systems for wear or damage to diagnose alignment problems.
Adjust components:
Calibrate and adjust suspension components, such as camber, caster, and toe, using precision tools.
Test drive:
Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper alignment and performance after the service is complete.
Communicate:
Explain alignment issues, necessary repairs, and recommendations to service advisors and customers.
Maintain equipment:
Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and in good working order.
Other tasks:
Assist with other general automotive repairs and maintenance, which may include tire changes and balancing.
Qualifications
Experience with automotive systems and wheel alignment principles.
Experience with specific equipment, such as Hunter alignment machines.
Ability to work independently and with a team.
Physical ability to perform job duties, such as lifting and standing for long periods.
Strong problem-solving skills.
