Position Overview
Wet Utilities Engineer Design role in Dubai supporting Parsons Corporation on potable water, firefighting, irrigation, and wet utilities infrastructure projects. The role involves delivering compliant engineering designs, hydraulic modeling support, authority coordination, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams on major developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise engineering deliverables that meet customer quality requirements, including calculations, drawings, reports, and design packages
• Define scope, plan tasks, support budgeting and scheduling, and report work status under guidance of senior engineers
• Provide technical input to CAD designers and perform CAD and 3D model-related tasks as required
• Independently design wet utilities distribution systems including potable water, firefighting, and irrigation networks under senior guidance
• Prepare and support hydraulic models for pressure utilities using Bentley WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, OpenUtilities, or related tools
• Perform load demand calculations for large private and government developments
• Ensure compliance with authority regulations including DEWA, ADDC, ADWEA, TRANSCO, DM, ADM, DCD, ADCD, and relevant GCC authorities
• Support hydraulic design requirements for pump stations
• Prepare utility cross sections in line with RTA, DMT, MOMRA, and other authority standards
• Support preparation of technical, commercial, and life cycle cost analyses and client presentations
• Liaise with DEWA and DM to support NOC submissions and design approvals
• Perform additional responsibilities associated with the role as required

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Hydraulics, Water, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in wet utilities projects such as potable water, wastewater, and sewerage networks, preferably within the GCC
• Proven ability to work independently on conventional to moderately complex engineering assignments
• Strong understanding of wet utilities design practices and authority requirements

Skills Set

• Proficiency in CAD software including Civil 3D
• Working knowledge of Bentley WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, OpenUtilities, or similar hydraulic modeling software
• Familiarity with British and American codes and DEWA and DM regulations for potable water and irrigation design
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills
• Good analytical, organizational, and coordination abilities
