:
  • The companyis looking for anInfrastructure (Wet Utilities) Engineering Director to join its teamto enable a great end-to-end customer experience.
  • Wet Utilities Engineering Director will closely work with the Business Development & Projects Manager to lead and develop our in-house team of committed professionals to plan and deliver quality and integrated designs including but not limited to pressurized systems,gravity systems, hydrology studies, process engineering, and BIM works.
  • Should have extensive experience in agile delivery management, resource and capacity management both of internal andremote teams and by commissioning external resources and suppliers to build skills and capacity, where needed.
  • To work as part of a cross-functional mission team with top-notch Internal, remote and external directors, managers, designers, modelers, and support teams to contribute in the corporate strategic mission and vision achievement.
  • Will be accountable for the technical assurance of our in-house, remote and outsourced services and design hubs, always ensuring we maximize the corporate value in all internal and external development and service management.
  • Drive the ways of working in engineering processes, improving the quality of the technical solutions, and ensuring the delivery value as early as possible using a range of modern theories and techniques.
  • Should have an active-oriented mindset and a focus on exceeding expectations, and operates with vision and integrity. Report back to upper management, plan and monitor work schedules and cash flows, and work with multiple and diverse teams.
  • Provide overall technical leadership and direction to the organization and the engineering team, encouraging controlled innovation and improvement in the design systems, processes, and ways of working.
  • Lead the engineering team to continueplanning, development, and implementation of the company strategy, including projects expansion in multi regions.
  • Own the planning and prioritizing of resources across the engineering team to ensure an effective balance between team building, development, project delivery, and support of the corporate platforms and services
  • Work collaboratively with other departments such as Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, and Civil to ensure the high-quality delivery aligned with the overall company guidelines
  • Ensure teams/squads are well-balanced and have the righttechnical skills to succeed.
  • Proactively removing impediments to productivity and progress toward continuous deployment, encouragingcontrolled innovation
  • Accountable for the technical assurance of inhouse, remote solutions and the solutions and services from outsourced suppliers and contractors
  • Providing expert guidance and support, approving newly-developed policies from various departments, and maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • MBA is an advance.
  • 20+ years of experience working in a wet utilities
  • 10+ years of managerial experience in a leadership role.
  • Management and leadership experience in an engineering role similar sized organization or business unit
  • keen interest in international trends in engineering and leadership, and above-average emotional intelligence
  • Hands-on experience inagile delivery management with mixed teams of inhouse, remote and external designers
  • Experience insuccessfully building, managing, and motivating multidisciplinary in-house engieering teams
  • Experience inplanning and delivering projects and services using agile development techniques to meet customer expectations and deliver cost effective robust solutions
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguitywhile constantly looking for opportunities to innovate and streamline
  • Flexible, adaptable, and resilient
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial and outcome-oriented
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Experience in identifying and navigating organizational changes
  • Work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
