Welding Supervisor Offshore Rig Experience

Job Description
- Welding Supervisor must be well-aware in marine structures in all positions except TKY using materials of ABS grade A, B, D, CS, DS & E, and all piping jobs using material Grades ASTM, A53 Grade B, A 106 Grade B, API 5 L Grade B, API 5LX Grade 42.
- Must be well-aware in marine structures in all positions including TKY joints using materials of ABS grade A, B, D, CS, DS, E, AH 32, DH 32, EH 32, AH 36, DH 36 and all piping jobs using material Grades ASTM, A 53 Grade B, A 106 Grade B, API 5L Grade B, API 5LX Grade 42 & Grade 52.
- Must be well-aware in repair of defective welds on all marine structures and piping in all positions except TKY. Materials covered under this procedure are ABS grade A, B, C. D. CS, DS & E, and all piping jobs using material grades ASTM, A53 Grade B, A106 Grade B, API 5L Grade B, API 5LX Grade 42.
- Must be well-aware of SEC IX of ASME Code and AWS D1.1: 2020 Codes related to pipe and plates especially in marine industry for Rigs and Ships using unlimited size of pipes and plates.
- Must have knowledge of base material like- welding metallurgy, weldability characteristics, welding filler metal types, material testing, and specifications.
- Should have familiarity with the welding, cutting equipment, brazing, knowledge of theory, and applications.
- Responsible for managing welding projects, supervising welding teams, and are involved with planning and preparation plus monitor productivity and provide training to the team whenever required.
